Medical Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Medical Assistant program is designed to prepare students for a career as an entry-level medical administrative assistant, to provide basic knowledge in office procedures, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, and to help students develop written and oral communication skills that they can apply to electronic medical records.

  1. Applicants must be at least 17 years old (Parent must co-sign enrollment agreement)
  2. Applicant must have valid Government issued identification
  3. Applicant must have a social security
  4. Applicant must possess a high school or GED diploma (for programs over 600 clock hours)
  5. Applicant must pay a Non-refundable registration fee of $100 ($150 for programs over 600 hours)
  6. Applicant must sign all enrollment documentation
  7. Applicant must be able to understand the English language
  8. Applicant must meet with the business office to finalize payment agreement

Zeal Technical Institute reserves the right to reject an applicant on the basis of not meeting the entrance requirements. A letter explaining reasons of reject may be emailed or mailed out to prospect accordingly.

  • Identify basic medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

  • Process and perform Medical Billing and Coding
