A diploma will be awarded upon successful completion of the courses and externship. Additionally, graduates will be eligible to sit for the Medical Assisting certification exam with NCCT, NHA, or AMT upon satisfactory completion of the program.

The primary objective of the Medical Assisting Program is to train students in the management and treatment of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective disorders necessary for employment in clinical, hospital, or office settings. The program covers a wide spectrum of subjects, including:

  • Interpreting EKGs
  • Performing phlebotomy
  • Demonstrating competency in injection skills
  • Administering First Aid
  • Assisting in sterile procedures
  • Sterilizing and caring for surgical instruments
  • Performing administrative office tasks such as coding and billing

Students also receive hands-on training in clinical settings during the internship, preparing them for entry-level employment in the medical assisting industry. This comprehensive program ensures you learn all the necessary subjects to become a successful Medical Assistant.

  • Day classes
    Monday to Thursday
    8:00 am to 2:00 pm (6 months)

     

    Evening classes
    Monday to Thursday
    5:30 pm to 9:30 pm (9 months)

    A student must enroll at least 2 weeks before class starts.
